Seals-it Drive Plate Seal
This product is an example of Seals-it innovation at its best. In their
relentless pursuit of more speed and better handling, certain NEXTEL CUP
teams determined that a little positive camber in the left rear wheel helped
the car turn better.
Great idea, until the realization that a growing number of spline failures
were the result of the camber. The camber causes the grease to be displaced
from the spline and wheel bearing, resulting in the destruction of either or
both.

After hearing about the problem, the Seals-it product development
group set out to develop a seal that would "fix" the problem, and protect
the camber advantage.
NOTE: Designed for Speedway Engineering type drive plate. |
 The
drive-plate seal has proven to be the answer. It is a snap in seal that also
provides assurance that proper lubrication will be maintained in all
non-cambered rear ends.

Wilwood Wide 5 Racing Hub Dynamic
Rotor Mount System
Racers in the Wide 5 hub equipped categories are now able to utilize the
proven performance advantages of dynamic or "floating" mount rotors.
Hubs for use with dynamic mount plates feature specially machined bolt
stands that compensate for the plate thickness and position the rotor at the
standard offset location. This eliminates any need for caliper relocation
when changing to the dynamic rotor mount system. The Starlite "55" series
hubs feature 5 bolt rear drive flanges with Snap-Cap front hubcaps. They are
the strongest lightweight hubs in the industry. The Starlite "V" series hubs
use traditional 8 bolt rear drive flanges and bolt-on front hubcaps.
High strength steel, dynamic mounting plates bolt solidly to the hubs and
place the float between the plate and the rotor through the special mounting
bolt and t-nut system.
Square faced t-nuts bolt solidly to standard 5/16" mount hole rotors and
float within the slots on the mount plate. T-nuts provide a substantially
larger load bearing area as compared to the round pin and bobbin type
dynamic mounts that require slotted hole rotors. An assembly tool is
provided with each bolt and t-nut kit to correctly position the t-nut during
installation to assure bind-free operation.
Use with any standard 8 on 7.00" mount pattern rotors with 5/16" bolt holes.
This provides a wide range of rotor choices with a substantially more cost
effective and durable mount as compared to slotted hole rotors.
NOTE: All DRM Hubs listed include machined hub, dynamic rotor mount plate

Seals-it Wide 5 Hub Seals
Centrifugal force can throw the rear end lube out of the housing and into
the wide 5 hub. This can cause wheel imbalance and the ring and pinion to
run dry. Also makes for a real mess to clean up.

Starlite "55" hubs feature the strength of Wilwood traditional eight bolt
aluminum hub with an all-new design focused on maximized weight reduction.
Computer FEA analysis and design technology were applied to reconfigure the
existing hub and its related components in order to achieve an effective
lightweight design. Each hub is permanent mold cast using a high strength
aircraft alloy.
To further reduce overall weight, Starlite "55" Snap-Cap front hubs have had
the flange bolt bosses removed, and the hub is machined to accept a fiber
reinforced composite Snap-Cap hub cap. With standard studs the hub weighs in
at 6.85 pounds. With the lightweight studs, it weighs 6.57 pounds. That's
lighter than some magnesium hubs, considerably stronger and more
economically priced.
Starlite "55" hubs are available in standard and GM rotor offset and
mounting dimensions. They are shipped with bearing races installed, and your
choice of standard or lightweight drilled wheel studs. Bearings, seals, and
spindle lock nuts are all interchangeable with conventional wide 5 hubs. |

Wilwood Starlite "55" Wide 5 Rear
Racing Hubs / Strength of Aluminum and the Weight of Magnesium
without the High Price
Starlite "55" hubs feature the strength of our traditional eight bolt
aluminum hub with an all-new design forcused on maximized weight reduction.
Computer FEA analysis and design technology were applied to reconfigure the
existing hub and its related components in order to achieve an effective
lightweight design. Each hub is permanent mold cast using a high strength
aircraft alloy. The resulting weight of the Starlite "55" hub, with studs
and bearing races installed, is 6.99 pounds. With the optional drilled
lightweight wheel studs, the weight drops to 6.71 pounds. That's nearly a
pound lighter than eight bolt aluminum hubs, and lighter than some magnesium
hubs!
To further reduce overall weight, Starlite "55" hubs have been designed for
use with a five bolt drive flange. The drive flanges are CNC machined from
high strength 7075-T6 aluminum billets and are available in either a
standard or lightweight configuration. A drilled stud hub can be run with
the lightweight drive flange at a combined assembly weight of 7.6 pounds!
That's less than or equal to the weight of any magnesium hub combined with
an eight bolt drive flange. It's also considerably stronger, and more
economically priced.
Each Drive Flange Kit includes the drive bolts and lockwashers. The bolts
are manufactured from a heat treated, lightweight steel alloy that is
stronger than a grade 8 cap screw. The bolts feature 12 point heads and are
lock wire drilled for additional safety.
Starlite "55" hubs are available in standard and GM rotor offset and
mounting dimensions. They are shipped with bearing races installed, and your
choice of standard or lightweight drilled wheel studs. Bearings, seals, and
spindle lock nuts are all interchangeable with conventional wide 5 hubs. New
five bolt drive flanges are the only special parts required when updating
from an eight bolt hub. |

Wilwood's Starlite "V" Racing Hub remains the industry standard. High
strength aircraft aluminum alloy is permanent mold cast to exacting
tolerances and precision machined to assure consistent strength and
durability. The innovative hollow core design has been refined and race
proven, and Wilwood's high output manufacturing capabilities have made it
both racing tough and economical. Available in two offsets: The standard
offset to accommodate Wilwood fixed mount Superlite and Dynalite series
calipers, and the GM offset for floating calipers with the narrow outboard
anvil. Hubs are supplied with premium quality bearing races installed and
