Tilton offers the largest selection of master cylinder bore sizes in the racing industry

Tilton's selection of eight different bore sizes enables you to "fine tune" your braking system for optimum balance and performance. These aluminum cylinders are anodized for wear and corrosion resistance.

Choose from the 74-Series (standard length, 75-Series (compact length), 76-Series (compact length) or 77-Series (Rear Pivot-Type) master cylinders. Selection, quality and value& have made Tilton the most widely used master cylinders in racing.

Tilton 73 Series Master Cylinder
73-Series master cylinders are designed for applications that require large brake fluid capacity in a leak-proof integral reservoir.

Features:
* Reliable seal / piston design.
* High pressure die-cast aluminum provides machined-look finish.
* 1.1" of stroke provides the fluid displacement needed for a wide variety of applications.
* Integral 10 oz. reservoir provides plenty of fluid capacity.
* Internal baffle within reservoir keeps port covered with fluid if reservoir runs low.

* Engineered bellows from a tight seal and keep elements away from brake fluid. Bellows expands to fully fill reservoir and enables the full volume of fluid to be utilized.
* Lid designed for easy removal. Features a bail wire produced from high-tensile spring steel (unlike competitor's low-carbon steel), designed to provide consistent clamp force.
* 1.8" NPT outlet port, shrouded underneath reservoir to minimize the chance of fitting damage
* Front flange mount
* Cylinder weight (varies by bore size): 1.40 lbs

Tilton 77 Series Pivot-Type Master Cylinder
Designed for Use Tilton's Low Friction Pivot-Type Balance Bar and Pedal Assemblies. http://www.hrpworld.com/index.cfm?form_prod_id=261,49,363_3948&action=product
Designed to pivot at the rear, these master cylinders greatly reduce friction over conventional balance bars and fix-mounted master cylinders. The reduced friction within the pedal/master cylinders system provides repeatable braking and exceptional feedback to driver.

Features:
* Weighs only 0.3 lbs (3/4" bore)
* 3.4" body length
* Handbuilt and blueprinted for cut-off port travel. Cutoff port distance may be altered for increased/decreased pedal free play using variable thickness shims (sold separately).
* One-piece steel piston/pushrod
* Spherical bearings (rear pivot) are positively retained with circlips
